Mr. Myers, is a seasoned Close Protection Specialist and Certified PARAMEDIC with over 30 years of experience. 19 years experience in close protection, the last 9.5 yrs., assigned to high threat post overseas in the middle east. Mr. Myers has served in many capacities such as Shift Leader, Advance Team Leader, Lead Medic and his experience has the maturity and skills to succeed in any environment or threat situation. While working in the high profile area of foreign dignitary protection, He has performed protective services in ten(10) countries across (5) continents without loss of life, injury or embarrassment to the client or team members.
Mr. Myers began his path in the protective services arena as a medic with the District of Columbia Fire Department in 1992 as a member of the Diplomatic Medical Support Detail. In 1996 his interest in close protection led me to the U.S. Olympic Summer Games in Atlanta, Georgia.
Over the past 19 years he has enhanced his level of experience working within protective services. Since 2005 he has been assigned overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan and Israel supporting the Office of Diplomatic Security Service with the State Department’s Ambassador’s Protection Detail and the Office of the U.S. Consulate General Protection Detail.
Mr Myers is the Chief Tactical Medical Instructor of the International Academy of Executive Protection Agents, a member of the North American Bodyguard Association, International Close Quarters Protection Operators Association and we are very excited to have him as part of our curriculum advisory panel.
